Her work combines artist’s books, videos, drawings, archives and installations with writing and theoretical research. She has taken part in numerous group exhibitions at Transmitter space (New York, 2016), the Handel Street Projects gallery (London, 2017) and at the Venice Biennale (2019). Solo exhibitions took place at the Selma Feriani Gallery (Tunis, 2018), at the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria (Perugia Italy, 2019) and at the Jardin des Plantes du Parc du Belvédère (Tunis, 2021). Her work is included in the collections of the Frac Poitou-Charante, the Center for Artists’ Books (Limousin), the Contemporary Art Fund in Paris and the British Museum.
Together with Vanja Krajnc Farah Khelil realised the exhibition Carrefour des Possibles V: Passage at the Parallel Vienna 2022 (06/09–11/09/2022) and in an extended form at philomena+ project room (16/09 – 12/11/2022). Within her two weeks residency in September she originally planed to develop further her Green House Effect project (started in Tunis in 2020) for example by applying the technic of Cyanotypie at Viennese palm houses, due to passport issues her stay in Vienna had to be postponed and massively shortened.
