Alina d’Alva Duchrow shares with Leopoldine the joy of drawing from nature. In Vienna, during her residency, she sets up a workshop to also share this joy with others.
You are cordially invited to participate and draw from the plants provided by the artist. You can also bring your own favourite plant.
The required material will be available.
The workshop takes place in the context of the IMAGINE LEOPOLDINE exhibition.

ALINA D'ALVA DUCHROW
was born in Fortaleza, lives and works in Rabat. She holds a degree in architecture and urban planning from Universidade de São Paulo and from the Alanus Hochschule für Kunst und Gesellschaft in Bonn. She works with video, photography, drawings and installations in public and private spaces. In her recent work she investigates historical events, residues of colonialism, that have been forgotten, made invisible or deliberately denied by official discourse. Her work focuses especially on micro-narratives bringing into correspondence different image regimes and narrative modes.
