In summer 2019, Lena Schwingshandl and Lisa Großkopf spent two weeks in Europe’s largest tropical holiday paradise, the Tropical Islands Resort in the German province of Brandenburg. In a hybrid performance, the two artists – Lisa Großkopf from the Cuban beach and Lena Schwingshandl live at philomena+ – are alternately reading from their travel diaries, sharing the highs and lows of their research trip.

The event takes place  on the occasion of the finissage of the exhibition “VOYAGOGRAPHY – journeys on photo and video” (15/11/2021–19/01/2022) curated by Agnes Rameder, Sahar Samadian, Saeedeh Setayesh
