Zineb Wakrim, film still.

The exhibition Emotional Lands explores the complexity of human emotions. With her Cannes award-winning short film AYYUR, Zineb Wakrim shows beauty in what is often seen as strange. Her protagonists are 14-year-old Hasna and Samad, so-called moonlight children who cannot tolerate sunlight. For them, art and painting are a means of resisting and capturing the light in the midst of their darkness.
