For the collaborative intervention “Let’s talk Food” (together with Nourhan Maayouf) the artist Margareta Klose designed sit-on donuts, which are positioned in front of the philomena+ project space. On July 03 and July 04, 2021 from noon to 7 pm she invites to dialogues on donuts. Here, people can reflect on idioms about food in different languages, compare the act of speaking and chewing, exploring donut models and shapes, or simply have a casual conversation about cooking habits.
artist
(*1993, lives and works in Vienna, Salzburg and Brussels) studied painting at the Mozarteum Salzburg, linguistics, German literature, history and politics at the University of Salzburg as well as TransArts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and at the École de Recherche Graphique in Brussels. Her work reflects queer-feminist themes and deals with the construction and optimisation of the self. Performative and research-based works are part of her artistic practice.
